The Sirris R38 2SC Rear Shock brings full-size moto suspension technology to the Arctic Leopard XE Pro platform, combining oversized internals, high-flow damping, and heavy-duty construction in a package designed specifically for compact eMotos.
Built around the same proven internal architecture as the larger Sirris R46, the R38 delivers increased damping consistency, heat management, traction, and control compared to typical lightweight eMoto shocks. Its high-flow internals and CMX, or Compact Motocross, tuning are designed for aggressive trail riding, jumps, repeated impacts, and higher-speed terrain without sacrificing predictability.
The 2SC damping system provides independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment along with tool-free rebound adjustment, allowing riders to fine-tune the shock for terrain, riding style, and setup.
The R38 is specifically tuned for the Arctic Leopard XE Pro S, Enduro, and R and is designed to pair with the Sirris F43 CMX Fork for a balanced suspension package.
Rider Weight Options:
- 140–180 lbs: Medium — 110 N/mm spring
- 180–220 lbs: Heavy — 120 N/mm spring
Please Note: Listed weight ranges are rider weight without riding gear. Sirris calculates approximately 15 lbs of riding gear into the recommended weight ranges.
Please Note: The stock Arctic Leopard linkage is NOT compatible with the Sirris R38 shock. The TMB R38-specific linkage is required for installation and is sold separately here.

Damping:
The R38 shares the high-flow base-valve cavity architecture found in the larger Sirris R46. Increased oil flow allows the shock to deliver the damping control, consistency, and response normally associated with full-size motocross suspension.
Sirris CMX damping features fully tunable compression and rebound circuits with high-flow internals engineered to manage heat and maintain consistent performance through repeated impacts.
The high-flow design provides improved pressure balance and faster suspension response while giving Sirris a broad tuning range for different eMoto platforms.
Reservoir:
The reservoir is designed around the R38's large 16mm shock shaft and high oil-displacement requirements.
An R46-spec internal floating piston system manages shaft displacement and pressure changes to help maintain consistent damping performance through repeated hard hits and elevated operating temperatures.
Shaft:
The R38 uses the same oversized shaft architecture as the Sirris R46.
- 16mm outside diameter
- 5.5mm internal diameter
- Hollow construction
- Induction-hardened steel
- Hard chrome finish
The large hollow shaft provides increased structural strength while allowing high oil flow through the main piston and damping circuits.
Shock Body:
A compact shock body, spring, retainer, and hardware package allows the R38 to fit smaller eMoto platforms while retaining the oversized internal flow characteristics of the larger Sirris shock architecture.
- Seamless 6061 aluminum
- Type III hard-anodized coating
- ACME thread
Main Piston:
The 38mm high-flow main piston uses powersports-style architecture designed to provide a wide tuning range and consistent damping performance.
- 38mm high-flow piston
- CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum
- Type III hard-anodized coating
Fitment:
- Arctic Leopard XE Pro S
- Arctic Leopard XE Pro Enduro
- Arctic Leopard XE Pro R
Please Note: The Sirris R38 requires the TMB R38-specific linkage for installation. The stock Arctic Leopard lower linkage will not work with this shock. TMB linkage is sold separately.
