Best bike in the world!!!!!
Well I’m probably not the right person to ask how I likes the Bonnell775mx due to my bike breaking down 14 miles into its first ride.
The drive chain exploded and it took 2 weeks plus to get a replacement and then repaired.
The best part of my experience was and is Electric Cycle Riders attention to detail and customer support.
After Tucker found out the issues I was having with the bike, I had received a phone call from Tucker even though he is super busy and has a million things going on. Hey took time out of his busy day to call me, to make sure I was able to get the bike fixed and warrantied.
As far as the Bonnell 77 Mx like the bike from what I’ve rode but 14miles before the drive chain explodes is not ideal.
And Bonnells warranty program is located in Australia so it takes 2 days to get a response.
I just think Bonnell can do better.
I admit that I overlooked this bike for several months, I do currently have an e-bike so I thought I was covered but then it dawned on me, this opens up so many more options in riding areas near me. The bike is just perfect, fantastic build quality, loaded with high quality components and of course, insane power, couldn't be happier with my purchase. Oh, great communication and super fast shipping!!
The bike is perfect however I do have one complaint I believe the bike should be offered with a thumb throttle by the same company that offers the twist throttle for someone who's never ridden a Twist throttle on such a powerful ebike before the bike at one point had gotten away from me because the twist throttle I was writing down a trail and I lean forward and then I lean back on my lean back the throttle went back to and I got flown off the bike I purchased a Twist throttle and now the bike is perfect absolutely perfect best $6,000 I've ever spent

So I’m not big on reading manuals prior to use. I was pretty impressed with this bike. My first ride was disappointing as I found level 3 on street mode to be ok but like other bikes I’ve ridden. I know there is a race mode so I figured out how to turn around on with the trusty card zipped to the bike. Wow level 3 on race mode was pretty sick and thought I got bit by the excitement bug and was fooled by the vids I watched. Well if you’ve read this far you probably already know that this one goes to 9 🤯. I accidentally bumped the up button and discovered there was a level 4. Impressive until I kept clicking up to nine. At this point the bike went from cool to OMG this is insane. I immediately started attacking hills and it even raised up the front end. Holy sh— and wow. This bike rips. No false advertisements. This is the real deal. That’s my first 50 miles. Thx guys. Love it. GTRJ
Great bike!
The bike is great lots of fun. The package showed up undamaged and was very quick . The only gripe i have is that if there are any issues you need to take care of quickly like i did with a shipping error you cannot call anyone to resolve it. The phone goes rite to voicemail when you call and have to leave a message and it took 3 days for my email to be answered. The error got resolved and it worked out but when you see your 5500 dollar bike being shipped to someone else address 100's of miles away from you it kinda freaks you out as a first time buyer of the site. Other than that great experience.
I think the bike is awesome, definitely pleased with the purchase.
I have a specialized Levo that I hit the trails with that will probably never get used by me again.
Some things to note: the downhill forks and battery size/location makes the bike a bit more forward heavy on jumps, and the turning radius at slow speeds is not the best.
As far as power, it has way too much for the weight and you will loop it without the proper respect. (🪖)
The app is so cool and you really can fine tune your experience!
Trail riding with your buddies on regular emtb’s is probably best to put the Bonnell in level 2 street mode and you should be able to ride all day and still have a little extra torque.
And stay off the street, the tires will be gone in no time.
